Red Bus Company
Three days after the Christchurch mosque attack, there were memorials being
held at Al Noor mosque, the place where the attack happened, 3 girls decided
to pay respects but ended up seeing something that ruined their day. The 3 girl
were making their way to a nearby bus stop coming back from the memorial,
as they were waiting for their bus to arrive they witnessed a bus driver close
the door on a young Muslim women. The young women was walking onto the
bus and the driver deliberately closed the door on her, she was wearing a hijab.
The 3 girls stated that the bus was not full, they believe it was an act of racism
from the bus driver. The 3 girls decided to act upon what they just saw. They took
the problem to the Red Bus Company, they consulted the worker at the front desk,
they suggest they make a formal complaint, so they did. The executive of R.B.C,
Mr Mcnoe saw the complaint and took action, he sincerely apologised for the drivers
actions and most certainly won’t happen again, the driving will be punished, most likely fired.
